DIY Lavender Scrunchies

Cut Fabric Strips 4” x 20”

Cut ¼ in wide elastic into 9” strip

Fold Fabric in half with right sides facing each other and stitch along the long edge of the fabric by hand or machine. Turn the tube inside out

Thread elastic through the tube – a safety pin on the end helps – Tie elastic into a knot and slide into the scrunchie so it’s not at the opening. Insert some lavender buds into the tube – I use a straw – a little goes a long way – Fold over the ends of fabric and insert ends into each other and stitch shut. Shake the Scrunchie to spread the lavender throughout. Enjoy the scent.

In an airtight container combine 1 ½ cups of Vinegar, ½ cup distilled water, 20 drops essential oil – we use lavender:) Mix Well

Add 4 wash clothes to container and shake well – you can use any fabric – cut into 5x 7 sheets with pinking shears. Old felt sheets work well.

To use – wring out cloth before use. – it should be saturated, but not dripping wet – throw in dryer with wet clothes.

After drying cycle put cloth back into container to re-use again.
