DIY Lavender Shampoo Bars

Thanks to Melt and Pour Bases- and silicone molds – it’s easier than ever to make your own custom shampoo bars

Here’s how:

Use Melt and Pour Base and molds of your choice:

Some available varieties are :
Goat’s Milk
Shea Butter
Aloe Vera
Clear Glycerine
Oatmeal
Honey
Argon Oil

You can find soap base and silicone molds in craft stores and on line.

Ingredients:

½ lb of soap base
1 tsp shea butter
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp olive or castor oil

25 drops of lavender oil

Directions

Spray bottom of mold with Rubbing Alcohol
We use silicone cupcake liners.

Melt base in microwave in 30 second intervals. Use a glass 4 or 8 cup measuring cup with a handle if you have one
add shea butter, castor oil and lavender oil. Combine well

Pour mixture into molds – spray with rubbing alchohol to prevent air bubbles after filling too

Cool for several hours before removing from mold

To use wet hair and rub bar on head and lather – store on soap lift in your shower
