DIY Hair Conditioners

Two ways to go – creamy or in a solid bar – Both use Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil and Lavender Oil. No preservatives.

Combine 1cup coconut oil with 1 Tsp of Jojoba oil and 10 drops of Lavender Oil.

Hand mix to blend ingredients

Apply sparingly to clean, damp hair that has been washed, rinsed and towel dried. Use a comb if you want – Leave in for a few minutes and rinse thoroughly with warm/hot water to remove excess.

This blend lasts as long as the coconut oil – you can store in the refrigerator. If you want to be able to pump from a bottle add ยผ cup of distilled water until you have the consistency that you want.

Bar conditioner

  • 3/4 cup shea butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup beeswax
  • 2 teaspoons jojoba oil
  • 10 drops vitamin E oil
  • 20 drops lavender oil

Melt Shea butter, coconut oil and beeswax in the microwave using 30 second intervals
Let cool slightly before adding
Jojoba, vitamin E and Lavender oil

Pour into molds to set

Mini Bundt Molds

If you want to have Conditioner on a String to hang in the shower – consider using mini bundt molds that will leave you with a whole in the center.
